The Marchini family has been farming the rich soils of the San Joaquin Valley since the 1920s and their passion to grow quality products is the foundation of their company. In the 1980’s, Joe Marchini sold his first radicchio box at the San Francisco Market and then began to deliver boxes of radicchio to local restaurants to help educate chefs and grow his business. This is when Joe Marchini founded J. Marchini Farms and created the Joe’s Premium brand.

Sparked by a passion to produce high quality and year-round supplies of radicchio, Joe Marchini became the original radicchio grower in the United States. The Joe’s Premium product line has grown to include more than just radicchio, and J. Marchini Farms has grown to include three generations of management and a group of dedicated employees. J. Marchini farms continues to look for ways to improve their practices to ensure the safest and best quality produce is packed into Joe’s Premium Brand.
